Yeah, that's a good point. I guess I just needed to hear it from someone else. I'm not worried about Maul, not really. Not after everything he did back in Deerington. It does seem like he's changing, though. Sort of, anyway.

I've had some difficulties with elemental abilities like that myself since I got here.

Yeah... I guess a lot of us are kind of having a hard time readjusting. I was kinda hoping with the waking world, there'd be less backfiring magic, not more. We'll figure it out, I guess. I mean, there's not really another option.

Yeah. Don't get me wrong, he's got a long way to go, but we called a little truce back in Deerington - you know, when things started going sideways, and he's upheld it ever since. It's all baby steps, but still progress.

Well in all of our defenses we did willingly wade out into the ocean with naught but one of our old captors to guide us and either a bit of a death wish or a lot of hope. Then we washed up here after being squids. Pretty sure there's an adjustment period for all that rubbish.

I don't think he knows much more than baby steps, love. He's got the mental age of a toddler told he couldn't have a sweet before dinner.
